What’s in the box:
-MagSleem X Plate Holders
-1 box of mounting pucks(2 pucks with a center hole for the magnets and 2 snap-on caps that go over the pucks)
-1 box of magnets•1 box of screws (3 types: Self-tapping; M5; M6)
-Alcohol wipes for cleaning the license plate
-SleemFix – positioning tool
Step-by-step installation:
1. Remove the old plate holder
Clean the bumper area so the new mounts grip firmly.
2. Prepare magnets and pucks
Insert each magnet into a puck, larger magnet opening facing up.
3. Select the right screws
Self-tapping:
- front bumper or rear without OEM holes.
M5 / M6:
- rear bumper with OEM holes only.
4. Insert screws through the magnet
hole
The magnet must already be seated inside the puck with the larger opening facing up.
5. Using the SleemFix alignment tool:
- Snap the two SleemFix pieces together to form the full jig.
- Insert the magnet pucks into the two side slots—one left, one right.
- Hold SleemFix by the centre and place it on the bumper, as close to center as possible.
- Mark the position and drive the first screw (left or right, whichever is easiest) just until SleemFix stays in place - do not tighten fully.
- Align the opposite side so SleemFix sits straight and parallel to the bumper.
- Drive the second screw, also only part-way.
- Loosen the first screw slightly and pull SleemFix downward to remove it.
- Now fully tighten both screws directly into the bumper—the position is locked in.
6. Snap the caps onto the pucks
Press each cap over its puck until you hear a soft click.
7. Mount the MagSleem X holders on the license plate
- Place the holders onto the pucks already fixed to the bumper, “Top” label facing up, and press lightly to ensure they seat correctly.
- Peel off the protective film from the double sided tape on each holder.
- Centre the license plate, bring it to the holders and press firmly for 30 seconds to 1 minute for a secure bond.
